Welcome to
Joseph Edward Kellner
author of

Quarter to 12

Joseph, what’s the name of your book and why did you title it that way?
The name of my book and also my short film was titled “Quarter to 12” is because this is the exact moment I had awoken from my NDE.  And the exact moment I heard the Holy Spirit talk to me. He talked to me, I heard the Holy Spirit with my ears, not in my mind or in my heart but with my ears.

Why do you think you were  "chosen" for a near death experience?
I feel God wanted to use me here on this earth. To preach, minister to others. And to preform Charity.

Is it important to tell the world about your experience?
After it happened I was telling everyone what I saw and the message the Virgin Mary told me to tell others. People would look at me as if I was crazy.  I would hurt for a while but as time grew on and I received my spiritual gifts, and I became more knowledgeable from Jesus what people thought did not matter to me. I was a messenger. That’s it I am just a messenger to all now. There is a heaven and there is a Hell. There is good and bad on this earth and it is a constant battle my friend.  I tell people this. I can feel peoples pain and sorrows now. I can feel people want to tell me
there problems. When I look at people now I see them as souls, yes I see a human form male and female. But now when I talk to others I feel it is a conversation of two souls linking up for knowledge or for condolence. I can see spirits or souls in transition from one level to another now. My level of discernment is very strong. My faith in Jesus is has grown very strong.

What were the parts of your experience that were meant only for you?
All of the experience was meant for me, every part of it. Every part of that experience is used in my daily life now. As if
the experience where tools to use for a future meaning.

What were the parts of your experience that were meant for the world?
All of the experience was meant for all. Especially what the Virgin Mary told me to tell everyone.
    1. Ask yourself each and every day what I am doing for my fellow man or woman in my professional or daily life.
    2. Suicide is not an option.
    3. Be aware what you say and how you say it for you may influence others.

How has your experience changed the way you live?
Yes it has my friend. I no longer sleep anymore; my sleep is usually from 10; 00pm to 2; 00am. That’s one thing that has changed. Prayer is constant in my life. Giving of my time to listen to others and also answering questions about what happened to me. Helping people in the need of the Holy Spirit and praying for the sick and dying. I gave my life up to the Lord and my life since has been very supernatural in the whole essence of the word my friend.  I am careful of what I think, say and do to others also.

Did it change how you look at death?
Yes it did there is either Heaven or Hell it is up to you. It is your choice. I don’t do what I do now to get into heaven. Although I was imprinted in the back of my mind. Hopefully I will be able to go back to heaven one day. I have learned to live for today and not yesterday, Tomorrow will be here if we like it or not.

Welcome

Cari Schaeffer,
Author of
Faith, Hope, Love, and

Chocolate

1. What is the genre of your book?
It’s Christian inspirational women’s fiction.

2. What was the motivation behind writing this story?
It started out with my love of reading really good stories. I can read a novel a day when a book really captures my attention. I would look at the title of a book, be intrigued, read the blurb about it, be even more intrigued, and then get the book. What I found, however, is that more and more authors are resorting to filling their pages with obscene language and situations that I find deeply offensive. The plots may have merit, but when it’s pockmarked with filth, I lose interest and feel like I’ve been duped into supporting that with my purchase. So I decided to write the kind of story I would love to read.

3. Are there any parallels in your own life with the main character, Faith?
There are some – I grew up in a poor, single mom family. Just like every other woman out there in America, I also have struggled with my self-worth. The depth of Faith’s challenges is her own, however, I have come across a large number of women in the past number of years that can relate very easily to Faith.

4. Who are you trying to reach with the story and message?
There are so many broken women that refuse to see themselves through God’s eyes and heart rather than a mirror and a scale. I want to reach these women and help them be healed through His love. I want to reach every woman out there that struggles with their own self-worth and the damage that our lives and experiences can cause us. We are worth so much more than we can possibly imagine and yet the world beats us down every single day, if we allow it to.

5. Do you have any other novels in the works?
Absolutely! I am working on at least three other novels right now. Two of them are concepts at this point and I am actively writing one. Writing is a very creative and deeply personal work of the mind and the heart. I want to only provide a final product that I can be proud of and confident in. It takes not only the ability to write an engaging story, but also a lot of prayer that God will be honored in what I write. Jesus used story-telling to convey life principles, so I humbly follow in His footsteps with my novels.

5 Star review:
This book made me laugh, cry and most of all renew my faith.  I am so eager for
more! This book was as real and true as can be.  I felt every ache Faith had
with her struggles, the closeness of friendship amongst the women in the book
and the need to pray along with Julie and Ben.  At this point in my life this
book is just what I needed.  Please tell me you have more on the way?! Great Job
